James 1:5-11 When You Don't Know What to Do, Ask God for Wisdom | Beyond the Class

When life becomes difficult and you don't know what to do, where do you turn for wisdom? And what does it really mean to ask God in faith without doubting? In this episode of *Beyond the Class**, we take a deeper look at **James 1:5–11* and explore what the Bible teaches about God's wisdom, spiritual stability, divided loyalty, and seeing life's circumstances from God's perspective. Building on our Wednesday night Bible study at the Willette Church of Christ, we examine supporting Scriptures and answer important questions, including: Does having doubts mean you lack faith? How does God give us wisdom? Does God promise to explain why we experience suffering? What does it mean to be double-minded? What does James teach about poverty, wealth, and spiritual priorities? *This week's main takeaway:* A faith that works seeks God's wisdom, trusts Him without divided loyalty, and learns to see life's changing circumstances from God's perspective. 📖 Supporting Scriptures: Proverbs 2:6; Matthew 7:7–11; Hebrews 11:6; James 3:13–18; James 4:8; 1 Timothy 6:17–19. *Beyond the Class* is our Bible study follow-up series from the Willette Church of Christ, where we explore additional Scriptures, examine challenging questions, and seek a deeper understanding of God's Word. We invite you to join us for Wednesday night Bible study, watch our livestream, and continue studying along with us. 👍 Like this video if it encouraged your study of Scripture. 🔔 Subscribe for more Bible studies and future episodes of Beyond the Class.
