2 projects completed, 2 new train sets, 2 multiple units, 2 new locos and a set of coaches this month. We start with BR standard 2mt 2-6-2T 84009 - this was a fairly simple conversion from a Bachmann Ivatt 2mt and is seen here on a van train. In the other direction is PKP SP42 diesel hauling two double deck coaches a very nice train set by Piko. Next is a Hornby 'dutch' livery 56 at the head of a rake of hoppers - the loco was bought with Transrail branding which took some removing. Passing at speed is a Hornby 110 dmu which must have the smoothest and quietest ringfield motor of all in my collection. This dmu will eventually be converted to a class 104. Trundling along with a mixed goods train is BR 0F 0-4-0ST 47006 this has a scratchbuilt body on a Hornby Caledonian pug chassis. Speeding through the station is a Lima OBB Transalpin emu - this has been on my wants list for many years. Across the border into Germany where we see Roco BR58 2-10-0 58 311 hauling a train of Piko DR reko coaches. Next is my other train set purchase Lima 47833 in Inter City Swift livery with matching MK2 coaches. Finally a set of Grafar BR suburban coaches - these are what would now be called 'generic coaches' however these only cost £21 for the 3 a fraction of today's version. Bachmann G5 0-4-4T 67282 has been rostered to haul these.
