ਇਸ ਕਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ 647 ਤੋਂ 649 ਤੱਕ ਸੋਰਠਿ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਉੜੀਆਂ 14 ਤੋਂ 18 ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਐ। ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਵੀਂ ਪਉੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਐ। ਹਾਥੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਕਸ ਤੇ ਲੁਹਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਰਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਸਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਐ ਕਿ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਤਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ, ਹੰਕਾਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਐ। ਕਥਾ ਦੱਸਦੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਧਨ, ਘਰ, ਮਹਿਲ ਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅੰਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਈ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਐ। ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ, ਪਹਿਨਣਾ, ਘਰ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝ ਕੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਭਾਉ ਤੇ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆ ਜੀਵ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਗੁਆ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਐ। ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਗਾਖੜੀ ਸੇਵਾ, ਸ਼ਬਦ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਮਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਐ। This Punjabi Gurbani Katha explains Ang 647–649 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji: pauris 14 to 18 of Guru Ram Das Ji's Vaar in Raag Sorath, with saloks of Guru Amar Das Ji and, alongside the sixteenth pauri, a salok of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
