This is the Mopar 440 RB engine that was originally rebuilt and detailed for installation in the 1970 Plymouth Superbird Tom with ‪@rocketresto‬ bought last year. The owner completed the engine build and a quick paint job for the car, then abandoned that project in the mid 1980s. This engine sat in a corner next to the car for over four decades - before we emptied the building and excavated the Superbird, eleven other cars, the 440, and countless other parts over the course of two and a half days.
