Making Our Cottage Farm More Charming on a Rainy Day 🌧️💐 | Slow Country Life

Hello, friends !🌿 A rainy morning in our cottage garden, followed by a cozy day of simple country living. I begin the day outdoors, enjoying the peaceful rain in the garden before heading into our cozy cottage kitchen to make homemade blackberry jam, freshly brewed tea, and delicious scones. Later, I spend some time cleaning and refreshing our display cabinet while my husband works around the farm and installs new lampposts to make our garden even more charming. As the day goes on, I return to the garden to sow new flower seeds in clay pots before settling into my sewing room to start a new project: handmade fabric bowl covers. For the evening, I prepare a comforting homemade potato pie filled with meat and vegetables, which we bake in our outdoor brick oven.
