Today we’re preparing approximately 12–15 servings of delicious homemade crispy chicken! Inspired by the familiar KFC-style crispy coating, we’re making our own special African village version. We begin with 4KG OF CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS, marinated in: 🥛 1 litre natural maziwa mala 🍋 Fresh lemon juice 🧄 Garlic and onion powder 🌶️ Mild paprika and black pepper 🌿 Thyme, oregano and turmeric ✨ Mustard powder, white pepper and chicken masala After marinating, we coat the drumsticks ONCE in beautifully seasoned wheat flour before carefully deep-frying them until golden, crunchy and fully cooked. The result is a delicious homemade chicken feast with a wonderfully crispy outside and juicy, tender meat inside! 🥔🧄 CREAMY GARLIC MASHED POTATOES! We’re also preparing 4KG OF POTATOES with fresh garlic, rich butter and warm milk! We boil the potatoes and garlic until tender, then mash them together by hand. Gradually adding warm milk and butter creates a beautifully soft, creamy texture. This delicious garlic mash is the perfect accompaniment to our crispy chicken! 🧅❤️ RICH HOMEMADE ONION GRAVY! To complete our feast, we’re making a flavourful homemade gravy using: 🧅 Slowly caramelised onions 🧈 Butter 🍲 Chicken stock 🌿 Thyme and black pepper The onions are cooked until golden, then combined with the remaining ingredients to create a rich, smooth gravy. We serve the gravy generously over our creamy garlic mashed potatoes, keeping the chicken coating deliciously crispy! 🍽️❤️ A BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN VILLAGE FAMILY FEAST! From preparing the ingredients to serving the finished meal, today’s cooking brings together traditional countryside hospitality and a delicious homemade comfort-food experience. There’s something special about preparing a generous meal while celebrating the progress of a family dream home! ❤️🌍 FROM DREAMS TO REALITY!
