56.3 km of gravel road between Iganga and Kamuli, in eastern Uganda, is being rebuilt under a design-and-build contract for the Ministry of Works and Transport, funded by Government. This film shows where the works stand in August 2026 — flown along the corridor from the point the tarmac ends at Iganga to the tie-in at Kamuli.

WHAT THE FILM SHOWS
Geotechnical investigation along the alignment. The contractor's camp in August 2025 and again in December 2025. The batching plant, workshop and laboratory. The quarry opened, blasted, crushed and screened. Formation built layer by layer — cut, fill, watering, compaction. Embankment raised through the wetlands. Reinforcement fixed and concrete placed at every crossing. Plant and haulage working the length of what has been handed over.
Land is handed over in phases, and the works follow the land. The remainder of the corridor is still being acquired.
