Jim Sampson Story

Meet Jim Samson Sr., Director of Concessions of Hope in Columbia, South Carolina. In this heartfelt interview, Jim shares the mission behind Concessions of Hope: serving meals, offering prayer, building relationships, and pointing people toward the hope found in Jesus Christ. Located at 2018-B Main Street, the ministry is committed to meeting people with compassion—especially those facing physical challenges, hardship, or difficult circumstances. For Jim, the work is about much more than a meal. He recalls a guest who told him, “I come here for the love and affection that I feel from you and the staff.” That message captures the heart of Concessions of Hope: creating a place where every person is seen, welcomed, served, and loved. Jim also reflects on his own transformation, the guidance he received from Pastor Jimmy Jones, and his vision for people to grow in faith, discover new purpose, and become ambassadors for Christ in the years ahead. Watch this inspiring testimony of service, compassion, faith, and the life-changing power of loving people where they are. #ConcessionsOfHope #ColumbiaSC #FaithInAction #CommunityMinistry #ServingWithLove #HopeInChrist #Prayer #Compassion #MinistryStories
