Qalibra CT is a patented CT system where the CT gantry moves instead of the patient during the scan. This allows both horses and small animals to be examined with the most advanced CT scanner in diagnostic imaging, without the need for general anaesthesia. The height of the high-quality spiral CT systems can be adjusted. This feature is particularly advantageous for equine medicine. In standing horses, the head and neck region as well as the lower limbs can be examined. This often requires less time than an X-ray examination.
