Tri-Mode Treat! The First Class 93 To Visit Eastleigh - 19/08/2026

The first Rail Operations Group Class 93 to visit Eastleigh was 93003 working 0Z86 1330 Crewe South Yard to Eastleigh TRSMD on 19th August 2026. We popped over to record the locomotive as it passed through Eastleigh railway station and were also lucky enough to see a few freight trains either side of tri-mode Class 93. For point of record, the purpose of the light engine move was to collect Class 68 No. 68024, the duo departing for Leicester the following morning. I didn’t make a return trip to Eastleigh to see this unfortunately!
