Shishi (獅子), Guardian of the Rain | Japanese Flute Meditation Music for Sleep

Rain has been falling on the high moor since dawn. A lone archer walks the wet path in layers of plum-dark silk, her bow strung but no arrow at the string. Behind her moves Shishi (獅子), an ancient rain-maned guardian whose verdigris curls hold the drizzle like small pearls. Together they pass mossy streams, breathing cedars, a moonlit ravine, high mist and patches of old summer snow, until they reach a still pool where she draws the empty string and lets it go. After that, the path only leads down, toward an open valley and the end of the rain. Let it keep you company while you meditate, drift toward sleep, read a long novel, study through a quiet afternoon, settle into focused work, or simply unwind as the evening darkens. For the gentlest experience, keep the volume low, a little softer than a conversation in the next room. If you listen in bed, a sleep timer on your device lets the music end on its own.
