I attended the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Shiroi Lily Festival in #ukhrul #manipur and this journey was full of surprises, adventure, local culture, and unforgettable moments! 🌸🏍️ In Part 1, I ride from Imphal to Ukhrul through the beautiful mountains of Manipur. On the way, my Manipuri friend joined me for part of the ride, and we explored local food together. I bought traditional “Moja” from Imphal, tried delicious pork sausage near Swombung, enjoyed authentic tribal food, and tasted tribal momo during the journey. After saying goodbye to my friend, the real solo adventure began. You’ll experience stunning drone shots, breathtaking mountain roads, glimpses of the famous Shiroi Lily Festival, and finally my tent stay in Shiroi Village. But the adventure took an unexpected turn — I had a bike accident just after reaching Shiroi! A local tribal remedy using Ayurvedic leaves helped me continue the journey. Despite everything, I still pitched my tent and embraced the adventure.
