We break down Jamie Foxx as Joe Gardner, Tina Fey as 22, The Great Before Pixar, the meaning of the spark, the difference between purpose and passion, Joe’s obsession with his dream gig, and how the movie explores anxiety, lost souls, mentorship, creativity, and learning to appreciate regular old living. We also talk about the incredible music, including the jazz world of Joe Gardner, the original jazz by Jon Batiste, and the otherworldly Trent Reznor Atticus Ross score that gives the movie its spiritual, existential feeling. From the barbershop scene to 22 discovering pizza, subway chaos, New York life, Joe’s mom, Dorothea Williams, and the Pixar Soul ending explained conversation, this movie gave us a lot to unpack. As we continue our Pixar movie marathon and Pixar animation retrospective leading into Toy Story 5, we’re asking: is Soul one of Pixar’s deepest movies? Does it hit harder as an adult? And what is the difference between your spark and your purpose? #Soul #Pixar #ToyStory5 #MovieReaction #ReelRejects #SoulPixar #FirstTimeWatching #JamieFoxx #TinaFey #TrentReznor #AtticusRoss #JonBatiste #PixarMovies #HoppersPixar #react #reaction #reacting #moviereaction #movie #firsttimewatchingmoviereaction #firsttimewatch #firsttimewatching 0:00 Checking in 2:25 Soul Reaction 56:30 Soul Review Follow Jackie Bonsignore:   / jackiebonsignore   Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
