Kashmir's Chak Dards

In Episode 12 of #KashmirArchitectureTales-Qabal Masih Say 20wein Sadi Tak, part of #KashmirLife’s landmark 30-film #Jammu and #Kashmir history series that retells the region’s past through #KashmirArchitecture, the focus turns to Kashmir’s Chak Dards, a three-decade chapter remembered more for #turmoil than #construction. Drawing extensively on surviving #MaterialRemains, #IqraAkhoon reconstructs these tense years through the lens of history and the poetry of #HabbaKhatoon, guiding the #KashmirTalk towards the #Mughal era. Directed by #HumairaNabi along with #ShoaibNazir and partnered by #KhyberCement, the series stands as a first-of-its-kind contribution to #Kashmir’s audio-visual history.
