The last hold out of the ex-Wales Sapphires that were destined for Southport has finally made it over to Canning Road and what a bus it is! I got to enjoy this monster of a bus on a new dead run from Canning Road Depot to Wigan Bus Station. As part of the recent improvements to our Wigan route which has seen service patterns change from every 30mins to every 20mins on weekdays, the Hall Green dead runs have been altered to start from Wigan instead, allowing for earlier journeys out of Wigan Bus Station. My bus would go on to form the 0540 385 back to Southport. Enjoy the ferocity of this bus. It's a belter! 😁
