Culture in Transit ft U A Vasanth Rao, BMRCL & Yamini Telkar Zinnov Confluence 2026

A metro does more than move people across a city. Over time, it can become part of how people experience and connect with the city itself. At Zinnov Confluence 2026, U. A. Vasanth Rao, Advisor (Connectivity & Asset Management), Former GM - Finance & Chief PRO, BMRCL, joined Yamini Telkar for a conversation away from the conference floor on building public infrastructure at the scale of Bengaluru. The conversation explores how metro infrastructure can influence where people live and work, while stations themselves become spaces that reflect the neighbourhoods around them. From local histories represented on station walls to spaces for art, science, and community, the discussion looks at infrastructure as both a mobility network and part of a city's evolving identity. Watch the full conversation for a different perspective on Bengaluru, its Metro, and the city being built around it. #ZinnovConfluence2026 #Bengaluru #NammaMetro #UrbanInfrastructure --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Zinnov Foundation ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website to know more: https://zinnovfoundation.org -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
