JUDY BLOOM - Full Performance | Le Salon

After earning his press card, Judy Bloom seemed destined to write articles. Instead, he started writing songs. Singer, guitarist and drummer, the Paris-based artist crafts an indie rock project where vintage textures meet more contemporary arrangements. From the very first demos recorded in his student bedroom in Berlin, Judy Bloom has explored a kind of music steeped in melancholy and raw sincerity, drawing inspiration from genre-defining figures like Elliott Smith, Radiohead and Beck. With his debut EP Bench Warmer, Judy Bloom fully embraced his self-taught obsession: a project written and composed entirely on his own, built with a modest but effective home studio setup, and featuring introspective tracks sometimes recorded straight onto his phone. Hush tells a different story. While he still wrote and composed the songs himself, it was in the studio - alongside longtime friends - that they truly came alive. Recorded live with a drummer and bassist, Hush opens a new chapter: rawer, louder, and more immediate. Fewer arrangements, more noise.   / judybloom.mp3   https://open.spotify.com/artist/6yj2c...
