Randomly scaling enemies lets you randomize the difficulty of everything in the game, from basic soldiers and animals to the hardest bosses. That means you could end up fighting a regular Godrick Soldier with the power of Malenia on meth, or a Consort Radahn who's somehow weaker than Margit. So naturally, I turned it on, randomized the entire game, and hoped the RNG wouldn't completely ruin my life. Between getting one-shot by random enemies, finding questionable loot, and praying I wouldn't run into a boss with New Game+7 scaling, this run was already looking like a disaster. I Climb.
