The music and arrangement were composed by National Artist Wirat Yuthavorn, with lyrics penned by renowned songwriter Wichian Tantipimolphan. Selected by the Cabinet on July 3, 2018, out of eight submitted entries, it officially debuted on July 28, 2018, during the royal birthday celebrations. Following the Royal Coronation Ceremony of King Rama X in May 2019, the lyrics were officially updated on May 21, 2019, to include tribute and well-wishes to Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana. The song serves as the official replacement for "Sadudee Maha Racha" (Hymn To The Great King), which had been used for decades during the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and Queen Sirikit.
