In this video, I’m showing you how to make Bamieh Stew (Khoresh Bamieh), one of the most delicious and traditional Iranian dishes. It’s easy to make, and I’ll show you all the steps step by step. First, finely dice one onion and sauté it in a little oil until soft and translucent. Then, add some chopped garlic and sauté for a little longer. Next, add the spices: turmeric, salt, pepper, and ground cinnamon, and sauté briefly until fragrant. Then, add 250 grams of lamb with bone and some fat and sauté the meat well. Pour boiling water over the meat, cover the pot, and reduce the heat. Let the meat cook for about 2–3 hours, until it becomes tender. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, sauté about 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Blend two tomatoes until smooth and add them to the tomato paste. Let the tomato sauce cook for a little while until flavorful. Once the meat is fully cooked, add the tomato sauce to the stew. Now prepare about 200 grams of okra by trimming the stems and ends. Add the okra to the stew, cover the pot, and let it cook over low heat for another 45 minutes, until the stew is well cooked and nicely thickened. By the way, this dish is traditionally served with rice, but if you prefer, you can also enjoy it with bread. Your delicious Bamieh Stew is ready! 😋 Enjoy! ❤️ #BamiehStew #KhoreshBamieh #OkraStew #IranianFood #PersianFood #PersianCuisine #IranianCuisine #TraditionalIranianFood #PersianRecipe #IranianRecipe #OkraRecipe #LambStew #EasyRecipes #HomemadeFood #ComfortFood
