Severn Valley Railway ''Autumn Steam Gala'' 19/09/2026

It would be a clash of LMS and GWR locos at the Severn Valley this past weekend. With 1450, 4150 (Fresh out of overhaul), 7714 and visiting engines 3850 and 9681 from the GWR and from the Midland, Ivatt tank 41313 and 46115 from the Mainline, alongside home fleet engines 13268 and 75069, it shaped to be quite the gala. On a more personal side of things, with only one day to film everything I was unable to get a shot of 75069 (so go watch my bluebell video for that) and a daylight shot of 3850, resorting to a dusk shot of it crossing Haye Bridge just south of Eardington. Not to mention it was also my first time filming at the SVR so it turned out to be quite the learning curve as the day went on. The windy and overcast weather providing quite the challenge on Eardington Bank.
