My First East Coast Xterra Challenge Was The Perfect Overland Adventure | ECXC 2026 I almost didn't go on this trip. I hadn't even started preparing for the East Coast Xterra Challenge until the day before the event started. After I melted the switch to the lights I just installed, I was not only physically and mentally tired, but I felt completely defeated... And the adventure hadn't even started. I had so many excuses to give up. I did not know a single person who would be at ECXC. I kept receiving a barrage of air quality alerts on phone kept telling me to stay inside due to the Wildfires from Canada polluting the air in Pennsylvania. But thanks to the support and encouragement from my lovely wife I whipped up just enough strength to drag myself to Anthracite Offroad Adventure Area (AOAA).
