2026 RRFCX M60+ Sunday

Sundays Masters Men 60+ race at the Really Rad Festival of CX at Falmouth, MA (Cape Cod). After a so so start, not immediately clipped in ran the first section in the sand, got me back in fourth with a gap worked my way up there over 2 laps when group fell apart racing w no 2. At some point in first position but fumbled in the sand. In the second last lap lost focus for a bit and crashed on the off camber. Overtaken by no 1 worked my way back in wheel of number 2, sprinted for 2 but was too late, 2 secs from no 1. Great day of racing lots of battles. This is how cx should be! Finished 3rd out 21. First Podium of the Year! Oh ignore the wahoo lanyard hanging over the camera in the last lap.
