🫁 Could immunotherapy bring surgery back into the treatment of small cell lung cancer? Dr. Chi-Fu Jeffrey Yang reviews the ADRIATIC trial, in which consolidation durvalumab after chemoradiation improved survival in limited-stage SCLC, and the wave of new trials combining surgery with immunotherapy. In a phase II study of perioperative tislelizumab plus chemotherapy from Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, where 64% of patients had N2 disease, 91.7% responded to neoadjuvant treatment, 34.8% achieved a pathologic complete response and 69.6% a major pathologic response. Results are preliminary and survival data are still awaited. ▶️ Watch the full session:    • Evaluating the Role of Surgery in Small Ce...   About the Speaker Dr. Chi-Fu Jeffrey Yang is Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Director of Thoracic Surgery Research & Infrastructure at Mass General Brigham.
