I head out into the darkness to catch frogs in a small stream near my farm. When morning comes, I return to my daily routine, taking care of the animals and preparing the frogs for a traditional meal. Today, I cook the frogs in a giant pan over a wood fire until they become crispy and golden. After cooking, I bring them from my forest farm to a busy local village area to sell. Back at the farm, I prepare a simple mountain meal: frog braised with banana and tofu, crispy fried frogs, and boiled vegetables from the garden. Surrounded by mountains, trees, and the peaceful sounds of nature, I enjoy a simple meal made from the land around me.
