Stage Decay - MicroFreak arrangement + ratcheted drums

This began as a randomized arp capture on the MF, which provides the overall up and down. It’s an initialized patch built from scratch using the Bass engine. Timbre and shape up by about 20%. Mod matrix is: CycEnv set to pitch; Env set to cutoff; LFO set manually to Dec/Rel; LFO also set to VocParam. This is helped by the Crave, which has a single bass hit with RND assign to ENV gate and RESET, so it hits and drags on occasion. I have this tied to VC mix so adjusted the hit length and reset frequency live on the recording. The Cycles is running a six-track drum sequence. Two for bass (varied trig conditions), two for the brush snare (Perc engine with the LFO set to negative Vol/Dist), and three for the ratcheted runs (one of which is top level). Easily could have worked this out to a longer and more varied sequence on drums, but I want to move on to other projects. #behringer #elektron #synth #dawless #arturia #microfreak #synthesizer
