辰野支線後方映像逆再生 ＜Reverse-playback view from the rear of a train on the JR Tatsuno Branch Line＞

I took footage of the view from the rear of a train on the JR Tatsuno Branch Line in Nagano Prefecture and played it back in reverse. I actually rode this line from Tatsuno Station to Shiojiri Station; since I couldn't capture a forward-facing "cab view," I filmed the scenery receding behind the train. I wanted to convey the peaceful atmosphere along the route, but watching the original footage made me feel a bit motion-sick. So, I reversed the video to create something resembling a standard cab view. It is, essentially, an experimental video. Since no cars crossed the tracks behind the train, the visuals look natural, though the conductor's announcements (in Japanese) end up sounding somewhat like a foreign language (specifically, an Asian one). In the video, the station where I actually boarded (Tatsuno Station) looks like the terminus, while the station where I got off (Shiojiri Station) looks like the starting point. アクセスありがとうございます。JR辰野支線塩尻～辰野間です。このビデオは、列車の後方の映像を撮影し、逆再生したものです。そのため、車内放送がなんだか中国語のように聞こえたりする不自然な部分があります。実験的な映像として、沿線の雰囲気だけ楽しんで頂ければ幸いです。実際には辰野駅から乗車し、塩尻駅で下車しました。映像ではまず塩尻駅が登場しています。2026年５月撮影 This section was originally built as part of the Chuo Main Line, a trunk line crossing central Honshu. However, when a bypass line opened in July 1983, most trains were rerouted via the new line, leaving this section as a branch line with only nine round-trip services per day. There are no people at the stations, and weeds are clearly visible along the tracks. Filmed in May 2026.
