Completed on Hard Difficulty. As if the Raccoon Hospital weren’t already a poor refuge, the survivors had no choice but to barricade themselves within its walls. Affected by this decision, they may take the hint after the meeting with Dr Hursh, the former survivor of this dreaded hospital itself. Of course, he doesn’t mention to the survivors there is an escape route somewhere underneath the hospital’s infrastructure. Which is where you need to find this by yourself. I’ll be guiding the password code only, since that plays an important role in accessing the B2 Floor, which contains the escape boat and the fixed temperature lab to decimate the pursuer in this scenario. Let’s talk about David King, shall we? David’s career is a plumber, so he has various items up his sleeve that he can use to craft homemade weapons (Exp: Hammer, Stun rod, Spear and Flame Spray), repair broken items (such as a broken handgun sg, broken shotgun, etc.) and throw them at his foes if the situation becomes desperate. Overall, he’s a good choice to play for newcomers if they are still trying to learn the basic maneuvers of the game. Of course, his special action is the third point I mentioned before, which is to throw monkey wrenches at any foe, causing them to fall down for a while or stagger backwards, making this a safer choice to run away when needed. I would say that David’s an equivalent of Nick Ramos from Dead Rising 3, as he is able to craft weapons or combo weapons on the spot without needing a workbench, making him an OP character here. Just like David, the other survivors also have their special actions to offer from one another, so don’t ditch them away and test each one for your preference. These can be summarized with Mark repelling a foe’s attack by guarding, Yoko evading an attack and taking several steps, George tackling a foe through right timing and so on. Now, the bread and butter of the video, how can we obtain the right code in accessing the required elevator floors? This is where it gets complicated at first, but it will be easy once you get the gist of it. Firstly, we need to get to the Nurses’ station (2nd Floor) to obtain the Chemical Code Message within the display cabinet besides the door. Of course, I avoided doing this, since interacting with it causes two leeches to jump out and the broken glass ends up cutting your character, inflicting in bleeding mode. Hence, it’s not a suitable choice to do this in higher difficulties as the pursuer for this scenario (The Leech Man, a Mr. X wannabe) will follow your scent of blood and chase you down. However, if you did get it, you will receive a code such as below: Cerulean: C-4041 Emerald: E-1160 Turquoise: T-7221 Carmine: K-1210 Ivy: I-2005 These specific names above are in-depth color codes from the main branch colors of Blue (Cerulean), Green (Emerald), Blue Green (Turquoise), Red (Carmine) and Dark Green (Ivy). So do take note of this. Once done, get the Piece of Memo in the Office (1st Floor), and start solving the puzzle. What you need to do is get the total sum of the B2 Floor’s code by adding the required color mention from the Memo. If it mentions “Red chemical code number + 2345”, you add the numbers from Carmine (Red color branch) with this memo code, so 1210 + 2345 = 3555. Now, you can access the B2 Floor with ease after inputting the code in the Elevator Control Room (B1 Floor). However, if the color code changes in another playthrough, like Blue for example, just do the same way as I did but refer to either Cerulean or Turquoise instead. Another fun fact, you can also access the rooftop if you want by reading the scribbled table in the Doctors’ Station (1st Floor), which mentions a code after translating a birthday date there (September 30th = 0930). Of course, you can just ignore all of this and punch the code through a guide as Capcom did not put any restrictions over this. With that, have fun playing this scenario with the Leech Man stalking you! With that out of the way, two things I should mention here: 1) Always, ALWAYS bring an additional blood pack to distract the Leech Man whenever you need to input the code in the Elevator Control Room, as being hit would reset everything. I learned that the hard way…damn. 2) If you’re playing as George, scout the Treatment Room (1st Floor) and check the big medical cabinets at the back, he will obtain four Recovery Medicine Bases by which he can create several Recovery Medicines after combining the Medical Set together.
