🍂 Stoom in de Gouden Herfst 2026 | BR 01 1075 – Breda 10th Anniversary 🚂

Op zaterdag 31 oktober 2026 stond station Breda in het teken van stoom en spoorweghistorie! Ter gelegenheid van het 10-jarig jubileum van het vernieuwde station Breda organiseerde Het Stoomgenootschap het bijzondere evenement Stoom in de Gouden Herfst . In het najaar van 2016 werd het vernieuwde station Breda officieel geopend. Tien jaar later werd dit jubileum gevierd met twee bijzondere stoomtreinritten. De belangstelling was enorm: de kaartjes voor de stoomtreinritten waren al binnen één dag volledig uitverkocht! Een duidelijk teken van de grote populariteit van historische stoomtreinen. De hoofdrol was weggelegd voor de indrukwekkende BR 01 1075 van de Stoom Stichting Nederland (SSN) . Deze Duitse sneltreinlocomotief bracht de nostalgie van het stoomtijdperk terug op het Nederlandse spoor. De stoomtrein vertrok vanuit Breda voor bijzondere rondritten via onder andere Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Utrecht Centraal, Gouda, Rotterdam Centraal en Dordrecht. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the renovated Breda railway station , Het Stoomgenootschap organised the special event Steam in the Golden Autumn . The renovated Breda railway station officially opened in autumn 2016. Ten years later, the anniversary was celebrated with two special steam-hauled excursions. Interest was overwhelming: tickets for the steam train excursions sold out within just one day! A clear indication of the enduring popularity of historic steam trains. The star of the event was the impressive BR 01 1075, operated by Stoom Stichting Nederland (SSN) . This German express steam locomotive brought the nostalgia of the steam era back to the Dutch railway network. Departing from Breda, the steam train operated special excursions via Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Utrecht Centraal, Gouda, Rotterdam Centraal and Dordrecht.
