Who Then Is This?

When Jesus moves through human misery, reality itself seems to answer Him. But what kind of authority does He actually have? The authority Jesus demonstrates over sickness, sin, evil, nature, and death calls us to reconsider our understanding of who He is. His power is not distant or symbolic but active and personal. We are invited to bring our doubts, fears, and needs to Him, trusting in His willingness and ability to heal and forgive. This challenges us to move beyond seeing Jesus as merely a moral teacher and to embrace Him as the authoritative Son of Man who commands life and peace in every area of human brokenness. Reflect on the question posed by the disciples and now by Jesus’ story to each of us: Who then is this? Consider the evidence of His authority and choose to respond with faith.
