Classical Conversations Cycle 3 Week 2 Art | Atlas Moth Watercolor – Part 1 | Art with Miss Kassee

Welcome back to Art with Miss Kassee! 🎨 In this Classical Conversations Cycle 3 Week 2 art project, we're putting our drawing, observation, symmetry, shading, and watercolor skills together to create a beautiful Atlas moth watercolor painting. This is Part 1 of a two-part painting project. We'll observe an Atlas moth, break its complex form into simpler shapes and lines, use symmetry to build our drawing, and then begin adding watercolor. We'll practice layering colors, creating shadows and depth, and working with watercolor as we bring our moth to life. Throughout the project, remember that we're looking for an accurate representation—not perfection. This protects the marker and gives us a clean surface for the details we'll add in Part 2.
