For as long as I can remember in the Irish whiskey scene, Bushmills Black Bush was seen as a 'blend deluxe'! A high malt content with a relatively high age plus being predominantly sherry cask mature, Black Bush was a cut above it's competitors. However, in recent years I've personally felt it's profile has waned. Potentially due to production techniques, maybe poor cask management?
