Rebuilding Transmission with No Experience Part 1: The Removal

This is my 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium I bought one year ago for $6,000. A grinding noise started recently on the left side of the car, and it has progressively gotten much worse. I believe it's some bearing inside the transmission. When I drained the fluid it was jet black. I have very little experience with cars, and have never even changed my own oil, but damnit am I willing to screw my car up. All the tools you see I bought or borrowed as I needed them.
