Can I Survive 106 Days in an OBSIDIAN ONLY World?

Can I survive 100 (or even 106) days in a world where every block has be turned to obsidian??? There's no trees, no dirt, and virtually nothing to help me, just miles and miles of obsidian..... Oh, and I'm playing hardcore. With no shaders. (No shaders doesn't really make it more difficult, it just makes me sad but it was so shiny in the day time and so dark at night with them on that it was basically unplayable so I had to turn them off for this one)
