STUDIO AMI — CREATIVE MINDS OF BANGLADESH SESSION 01 | INSIDE THE CREATIVE WORLD OF BANGLADESHI ARTISTS EPISODE 01 — TAIARA FARHANA TAREQUE INSIDE STUDIO 6/6 | BANGLADESHI ARTIST What does an artist’s studio reveal about the person behind the work? In the first episode of STUDIO AMI, we enter Studio 6/6, the creative space of Bangladeshi artist Taiara Farhana Tareque, to spend time with her practice, ideas, surroundings, and everyday creative life. Rather than presenting an artist only through finished artworks or exhibition histories, STUDIO AMI looks at the spaces, conversations, experiences, questions, and processes that exist behind the work. In this episode, we explore Taiara’s relationship with her studio and the different elements that form her creative world. The camera moves through the space, observing the works, objects, plants, sounds, conversations, and everyday details that become part of the experience of Studio 6/6. ABOUT STUDIO 6/6 Studio 6/6 is more than a workplace. It is a space where artistic ideas develop, works are made, experiments take place, and everyday life intersects with creative practice. Through our time inside the studio, we look at how an artist inhabits and uses a creative space — from making and thinking to observing, collecting, experimenting, and living alongside the work. The studio becomes a way of approaching the artist beyond the conventional gallery or exhibition setting. ABOUT TAIARA FARHANA TAREQUE Taiara Farhana Tareque is a Bangladeshi artist whose creative world we encounter through her studio, works, conversations, and everyday surroundings. This episode does not attempt to provide a complete definition of her practice. Instead, it offers a close and personal encounter with the artist and the environment in which her creative process unfolds. The project focuses on: Artists • Ideas • Stories • Creative Practice Each episode enters a different creative environment and follows the people, places, ideas, processes, and stories that shape artistic practice. STUDIO AMI is interested not only in what artists make, but also in how they think, where they work, what surrounds them, what influences them, and how creative life takes shape in Bangladesh. Through conversations and observational filmmaking, the project aims to build an evolving visual archive of Bangladesh’s contemporary creative landscape.
