The Day That Bo Promised Hope Stefano Would Never Win | Days of our Lives | 2000 | FREE EPISODE

Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) gives John (Drake Hogestyn) an important assignment: find out whether Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has a memory chip in her brain, and if she does, remove it. He also wants John to dig for information and find out whether Hope remembers her night with John, and the sooner, the better. After John leaves, Stefano calls Rolf (William Utay) and gloats that John will do all the dirty work, take the risks, and take the fall if he gets caught. Classic Stefano. Hope still has a bad feeling about her baby, since she hasn’t bonded with him the way she did with Shawn (Jason Cook). She also fears Stefano will turn her back into Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso). Bo (Peter Reckell) tries to calm her, promising Stefano will never get his hands on her again. Later, after Bo leaves for work, John stops by. Belle (Kirsten Storms) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) talk about the dance. Belle admits part of her wishes she were Shawn’s only date, but she doesn’t want Mimi (Farah Fath) to feel left out, and Marlena thinks Shawn likes Belle more than he lets on. Meanwhile, Mimi buries a mysterious box. Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) tells Shawn that once he gets to the dance, he is dropping Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to spend the evening with Belle, and Shawn doesn’t like the sound of that. Jason (Aaron Van Wagner) adds that if Shawn skips the dance, he will miss the big surprise they have planned for Chloe, and Shawn warns them not to do anything to her. After hours of frustration at Salem Place, Chloe finally finds the perfect dress, but once she gets home to get ready, the second thoughts set in. She picks up the phone and starts dialing Philip to cancel. My heart is in my throat. Do you think Chloe should still go to the dance?
