Does neurofeedback work after a concussion? After roughly 15 hours of neurofeedback training, I’m sharing what I’ve experienced, what has changed, what the research currently says and what neurofeedback has actually been like. I started neurofeedback after dealing with persistent symptoms following a concussion, including vertigo, forgetfulness and a feeling that my nervous system was constantly switched on. In this video, I’m sharing five things I’ve learned from my neurofeedback experience so far. We talk about what a neurofeedback session actually feels like, my qEEG brain mapping experience, how neurofeedback training works, the changes I’ve noticed, how much neurofeedback can cost in Canada and what current evidence says about neurofeedback for concussion and traumatic brain injury. I’ve noticed improvements in some of my symptoms while doing neurofeedback, including my vertigo and that constant “switched on” feeling. But my experience cannot establish that neurofeedback caused those changes. I’m also recovering from a concussion over time and doing other things to support my health. That distinction matters. Research into neurofeedback for concussion and traumatic brain injury is still developing, and current Canadian concussion guidance does not establish neurofeedback as a recommended treatment for concussion. I’m staying curious, paying attention to my own experience and following the evidence as it develops. ♡ Join the free TRAC community: https://www.skool.com/trac-womens-who... ♡ Explore TRAC Wellbeing: https://tracwellbeing.com/ ♡ Follow TRAC on Instagram:   / tracwellbeing   CHAPTERS 00:00 How I ended up trying neurofeedback 01:04 My history with concussions and feeling “switched on” 02:08 1.
