Mandvi is a beach town and has a four-hundred-year-old ship building industry which is still functional and dhows, a type of wooden ship, are still made. We got a chance to talk to Shivji Dada, A 94 years old Ship Captain who shared his journey with us. Vijaya Vilas Palace is a summer palace of Maharao of Kutch. It is also one the tourist place that we visited along with Mandvi beach during our short visit.
