My very first composition. 1986. I was twenty years old. Found again and remastered forty years later. I wrote it on a keyboard I couldn't afford, in a room I didn't own, for a girl whose number I never once dialled. Four minutes of tape and every nerve I had — and the tape was braver than I was.
