After arriving in Sa Pa ridiculously early after that sleepless bus journey, I was straight into an early tour of Cát Cát Village. And what a place to start exploring! Tucked into the mountains beneath the Hoàng Liên Sơn range, Cát Cát is a traditional Black Hmong village known for its mountain scenery, little streams, wooden houses, water wheels and the beautiful Tiên Sa Waterfall. There are stone pathways winding down through the valley, traditional crafts, and so much to look at along the way. It was one of those places where I kept stopping because there was something else worth seeing around every corner.I also found the headbands that became pretty iconic throughout my Vietnam adventures. 😂 I didn't know it at the time, but those things were going to make quite a few appearances! And then came the rainbow slide. It looked like a bit of fun until I actually got on it. Let's just say I was a lot less brave once it started moving. That thing scared the hell out of me! 😂Not a bad start to Sa Pa after getting absolutely no sleep on the way there. #vietnamtravel #lionheart #vietnamadventure Part 1: Cát Cát Village — mountain views, Hmong culture, my iconic headbands and a rainbow slide I was not prepared for. 🇻🇳⛰️Love, light and darkness. 🖤Bless up. 🙏ROAR! 🦁#Sapa #CatCatVillage #Vietnam #VietnamTravel #HmongCulture #SaPaVietnam #VietnamAdventure #Lionheart
