Roaring Camp RR#87 Chiggen Returns Steam to Santa Cruz Part 1

Friday July 11 was the first time steam carried passengers on the Santa Cruz Branch Line. The previous day, Santa Cruz Portland Cement #2, the Chiggen, made a test run from Roaring Camp to Wilder Ranch and back. On this day however, the first official run was to occur. I was lucky enough, thanks to a couple of good friends at Roaring Camp, to be able to ride the non-passenger carrying run from Roaring Camp to the Boardwalk.
