North Norfolk Railway Autumn Steam Gala 24th October 2026

From the 24th to the 25th of October, the NNR ran their autumn steam gala featuring one visitor, Furness Railway number 20, the UK's oldest working steam locomotive, plus the home fleet. With five carriage rakes and a goods train running. Homefleet: Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST 1700 Wissington WD 2-10-0 90775 The Royal Norfolk Regiment Hunslet 16, Class 1589, Newstead BR Standard 4MT 80080, courtesy of the Princess Royal Trust, is to be based at the NNR for the next four years Hunslet Austerity United Steel Company No. 22, courtesy of Appleby Frodingham Railway, for a loan to the NNR for the foreseeable future GWR 42xx 4277 Hercules, courtesy of the Paignton & Dartmough Steam Railway, on loan for the 2026 season, due to return the P&DSR early next year, so it's its last gala at the railway.
