Do you have pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor tightness, or a feeling of heaviness and pressure? Sometimes your pelvic floor doesn't need more strengthening — it needs an opportunity to relax and release tension.
In this gentle 12-minute pelvic floor stretch and release session, I'll guide you through a series of relaxing stretches designed to help ease muscle tension, encourage better breathing, and improve your awareness of your pelvic floor.
If you're living with pelvic organ prolapse or pelvic floor dysfunction, you may find that constantly squeezing, tightening, or doing Kegels isn't always what your body needs. Learning to relax your pelvic floor can be just as important as learning to strengthen it.
In this 12-minute session, we'll focus on:
Gentle stretches for the hips, pelvis, and surrounding muscles
Releasing unnecessary pelvic floor tension
Relaxing your abdominal muscles and glutes
Using breathing to encourage pelvic floor relaxation
Moving comfortably without forcing a stretch
I'm a Certified Personal Trainer with over 25 years of experience and a Master's degree in Athletic Training. My own experience with pelvic organ prolapse has changed how I approach exercise, strengthening, and pelvic floor health.
My goal is to help women feel more comfortable, confident, and empowered to move their bodies — even while navigating prolapse and pelvic floor symptoms.
