The Last of Us II follows Ellie and Dina as they arrive in Seattle on Day One! Episode #8

Seattle – Day One: What Happens When Ellie & Dina Arrive They reach the outskirts of Seattle on horseback, following Tommy’s trail and looking for any sign of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF), the group responsible for Joel’s death. The city is flooded, overgrown, and partially destroyed, but you can feel how alive and dangerous it still is. 1. Entering the City Ellie and Dina push through abandoned checkpoints and collapsed highways. They spot WLF patrol signs and realize they’re getting close. The QZ (Quarantine Zone) gate systems are still partially powered, so they start searching for fuel to activate the main gate. 2. Exploring Downtown Seattle This is the big open‑world section: They explore ruined office buildings, courthouses, banks, and streets swallowed by nature. Ellie finds notes, maps, and clues about WLF operations. Dina keeps watch and helps navigate the maze of blocked roads and flooded areas. They scavenge for supplies, craft upgrades, and uncover bits of Seattle’s history after the outbreak. 3. Reaching the SEREVENA Hotel After powering the gate and pushing deeper into the city: They discover the Serevena Hotel, which the WLF used as a base. Inside, they find signs of Tommy—dead WLF members he killed while tracking Abby. This confirms they’re on the right path and that Tommy is only a few hours ahead. 4. The Moment of Realization Ellie and Dina learn that Abby and her group are stationed at the WLF stadium.
