On 8 September 2026, OpenAI announced that an AI had solved one of the hardest problems in mathematics: a Millennium Prize problem about the equations that describe every fluid on Earth, worked out by ten thousand AI agents in 88 hours and checked line by line by a computer. A month later it posted 722 more papers at once. Go fell to AI first, then protein folding, then code, and now mathematics. So what does it reach next, and why does it race ahead in some fields and crawl in others? To find out, the film follows one idea from a free-throw line and a therapist's office, through millions of games of Go and chess, a program that marks every step of a proof true or false, fifty years of measured protein structures, and the slow clock of a clinical trial: you get good as fast as the world can tell you whether you were right. Then back to September, to what those claims really amount to, and our answer: which fields AI will change next, in the order they can check their answers, why medicine has to wait for nature, and what the same loop says about the things you are good at yourself.
