Tholen Walking Tour | Fortified Town Loop from the Harbour (3 km)

Join me on a walk through Tholen, a fortified town in Zeeland on the Eendracht. Tholen received its city rights in 1366 and was surrounded by a star-shaped defence system during the Eighty Years’ War. Those ramparts are now a green park. Along the way we pass narrow streets with old gabled houses, two windmills, the town hall with its carillon and the old church. The route is about 3 kilometres long and starts and ends at the harbour.
