As a young girl from Uganda, I've always been fascinated by the beauty and culture of our neighboring country, and I couldn't wait to explore it for myself. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the natural beauty of the area, with its rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and vibrant markets. As I wandered through the town, I met so many friendly locals who were eager to share their stories and traditions with me. I learned about the history of the area, including the famous Kibeho apparitions, and I was amazed by the strong faith and resilience of the people. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Kibeho Shrine, a beautiful Catholic church that's famous for its apparitions of the Virgin Mary. I was deeply moved by the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of community that I felt there. Throughout my journey, I was also struck by the similarities and differences between Ugandan and Rwandan culture. From the food to the music to the fashion, I loved learning about the unique traditions and customs of Rwanda. This trip was a real adventure for me, and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it.
