What Happens When You Die? The Sikh Answer

What happens when you die and what goes with you? This video explores the Sikh perspective on death, karma and the soul’s journey. In Episode 3 of Back to Basics, we build on our questions about life’s purpose and liberation to consider the moment we often avoid thinking about. Through Gurbani, the Guru’s teachings, we explore how our thoughts, words and actions plant seeds that shape our journey. We also look at Naam, remembrance of the One and why past mistakes need not stop us from beginning a different way of living. The story of Bhai Mardana Ji and Guru Nanak Dev Ji illustrates the support of a connection with the Guru that continues beyond the body. The question of death brings us back to the present: what are we doing with the life we have now? What is one positive change you could begin today? Share in the comments. And what about heaven and hell? Are they the final destination? ▶ Next: Episode 4 - Heaven and Hell:    • Why Does God Give Some People Harder Lives?   ▶ Explore the Back to Basics playlist:    • Back to Basics   #LifeAfterDeath #Sikhi #BackToBasics —————————————————— 🔴 Subscribe for more videos like this: https://bit.ly/2WFeDjG 🙏 Your monthly donation of just £5 or $5 can help spread the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji: http://www.basicsofsikhi.com/donate 🎬 Watch our most recent videos:    / basicsofsikhi   ✉️ Want to get in touch?: info@everythings13.org —————————————————— 📖 Don't know how to read Gurmukhi (the Guru's script)?
