Zu Fuß durch Tirol – Erste Etappe auf der Via Tirolensis | Lofer – Pillersee – St. Johann

Auf der ersten Etappe der Via Tirolensis, den Tiroler Jakobsweg, wanderte ich von Lofer über St. Ulrich am Pillersee bis nach St. Johann in Tirol – für mich die historische Trasse des Tiroler Jakobsweges. Mystisches Morgenlicht in Lofer, die Festung Strub, ein übersehener Meilenstein am Pass Strub und die beeindruckende St. Adolari Wallfahrtskirche begleiteten meinen Weg. Der meditative Abschnitt bis St. Jakob in Haus und die fordernden letzten Kilometer wurden schließlich von der leuchtenden Abendsonne über dem Kaisergebirge gekrönt. Eine intensive Erfahrung für Körper und Geist – ein kraftvoller Auftakt auf dem Jakobsweg durch Tirol. On the first stage of the Via Tirolensis, I hiked from Lofer via St. Ulrich am Pillersee to St. Johann in Tirol – for me, the historic route of the Tyrolean Way of St. James. Mystical morning light in Lofer, Strub Fortress, an overlooked milestone at the Strub Pass and the impressive St. Adolari pilgrimage church accompanied me on my way. The meditative section to St. Jakob in Haus and the challenging last few kilometres were finally crowned by the glowing evening sun over the Kaiser Mountains. An intense experience for body and soul – a powerful start to the Way of St. James through Tyrol.
