He Comes Home With the Rain | Southern Gothic Dark Americana | LyricWake

He Comes Home With the Rain is an original Southern Gothic story-song about a woman whose husband was believed to have been taken by the river. But every time the storms return, so does he — a little closer to the house, a little closer to her. What begins as grief slowly turns into something darker, until she realizes he was never trying to find his way back home. He was trying to find her. A dark Americana tale of loss, devotion, and the things that refuse to stay buried. Original lyrics and concept by LyricWake.
